Currency exchange specialist Travelex has conducted research which has found that any Britons will look for holidays last minute to get out of the UK during the Olympics in order to avoid all the perceived hassles that will come with one of the greatest events on earth.

The research found that over one third of Brits going on holiday have booked their time off simply to get away from the Olympics, and that ten percent of them are in fact taking a longer holiday than they would have otherwise.
